Rollin' Rosco is a story about a differently abled shelter dog who enters a charity race to prove he's just as fast, strong, and deserving of a forever home as the other dogs. But when the shelter's grumpiest cat becomes tangled in a bush, Rosco gives up the lead to rescue him. Although his kindness costs him first place, Rosco discovers that he doesn't have to win a race to be worthy of love. He only has to show the big heart he's had all along.
A concept painting created for Rollin’ Rosco was selected for a juried exhibition at FLOHAUS Gallery in New York City supporting International Homeless Animals’ Day and exploring themes of animal rescue, care, and finding a home.
